It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Today’s snow has really put me in the mood to get started on all my holiday gifts. I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but December 25th will be here before you know it, and handmade takes a little more time, especially if you’re like me and have to mail things clear across the country. We have classes that can get you finished before the big day. Our T-shirt quilt class is a great gift for a Senior or past grad to commemorate their high school or college activities, and yes, it can be done by Christmas. Whether for yourself or as a gift, our table runner and placemats is a great one or two day class to make something new to dress up your table. We have some beautiful Autumn and Christmas fabrics that will have your guests Oooooing and Aaaahhhing the moment they walk in your door. Not really into sewing? Then come take our weaving class. Weaving on the Cricket loom is fast and fun, I literally finished a scarf in an afternoon. Is knitting more your style? Therese is teaching a fingerless mitt class with our 100% organic merino wool. I have a pair of my own and they are wonderful. And nothing says love more than giving someone a gift that keeps them warm. You can see and sign up for all our classes on our website, www.crafterslodge.com or sign up at the shop. Come create something beautiful with us!
P.S. Wednesdays are open crafting days. If you need to get out of the house to keep a gift a secret, want to get together with friends, or just need extra room to work, our classroom space is available at no charge.
