Wendy Crawford has been a needleworker her entire life, literally not remembering a time when she didn’t hold a needle. A veteran of 4-H and Girl Scout sewing competitions, Wendy started making baby quilts while in junior high school. She turned to hand quilting after inheriting a quilter’s estate and hasn’t stopped since. She is a certified Gammill (Long Arm) operator, and has finished over 350 quilts this way. She has recently returned to teaching after a long absence in that field, sharing her knowledge with the local community.
